At Those That Dare, we are committed to making a positive impact on the environment and reducing our carbon footprint. As a company, we believe it is our responsibility to do our part in addressing the global challenge of climate change. We understand that small actions can make a big difference, and we are proud to take an active role in promoting sustainability and preserving the planet for future generations.
To demonstrate our commitment to reducing our carbon footprint, we have implemented a range of initiatives to minimise our impact on the environment.
One of the most exciting initiatives we have launched is our “Plant a Tree” program, where we plant five trees for every new client we take on. We believe that planting trees is one of the simplest and most effective ways to combat climate change. Trees absorb carbon dioxide from the atmosphere and release oxygen, helping to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and improve air quality.
We are part of the Earthly program which aims to remove carbon, restore nature and improve livlihoods. Our trees are planted in Culm Moor Nature Reserve, Devon, so not a million miles away. The project pays close attention to creating a resilient forest that will support a diversity of plant and animal life, while increasing local awareness of biodiversity.

In addition to reducing our carbon footprint through our operational activities, we are also committed to sustainability in our web development practices. This means that we are constantly looking for ways to reduce the environmental impact of our website and digital platforms. We prioritise the use of energy-efficient hosting solutions and make sure that our website is optimised for fast loading times, which helps to reduce the amount of energy consumed by users accessing our site.
We also ensure that our website is accessible to as many users as possible, including those with disabilities and those who use low-power devices. This helps to reduce the digital divide and ensures that everyone can access the information they need in a sustainable way.
We are committed to using open-source technologies and promoting the use of sustainable web development practices across the industry. We believe that sustainability is everyone’s responsibility and that the web development community has a key role to play in reducing the environmental impact of the digital world. We are proud to be a leader in sustainable web development and are committed to making a positive impact on the environment through every aspect of our work.
